Designing, developing, and conceptualizing

A gentle giant fire-rock monster and a plant princess from war-torn kingdoms build a friendship and perhaps peace between their kingdoms.

Igneous finds Nettle deep in the Geode kingdom where she wasn’t supposed to be, and agrees to help her get home. He discovers she had been kidnapped by Geodes from the kingdom, tries to fight them off to protect Nettle, but ends up being saved by her. Nettle reveals she is the princess of the Botanies, and if she is not safely returned home, another war between their kingdoms could break out. Igneous guides her back through the Geode kingdom, but their growing relationship makes the two of them hesitant to split up at the kingdom’s border. Igneous tags along with Nettle to promote peace between their kingdoms! Venus, Nettle’s friend and mentor, accompanies the two of them to protect them, and they all set off deeper into the Botany kingdom to try to build friendships between the kingdoms’ peoples. Will Igneous and Nettle confess their growing feelings for each other? How will they manage to bring the two kingdoms together to find peace?

Igneous Character Sheet

Igneous at the beginning of the series is a lost character, and doesn’t really know what his purpose is. He’s a delivery boy just meandering through life. He acts as a pacifist, unless it’s a case of self defense. Finding Nettle in the middle of the Geode kingdom is his initial call to action, sparking his character arc of going from lost to finding his purpose, eventually ending in him stopping the main conflict. He develops a crush on Nettle pretty early.

While he is indecisive, this also lends to him being thoughtful, as he will think things over for a while before making a decision. He is also very go with the flow.

Nettle Character Sheet

Nettle is the princess of the Botanies. Because her mother’s death sparked the war, she is now fiercely protective of those close to her, and is willing to fight to keep those she loves safe.

Despite this, she wants to make the world a better place so she won’t have to fight to keep people safe.

She is a strong leader and will do everything she can to make life better for everyone she can.

However, her protective nature can make her overbearing, especially with the instinct to protect others from their own bad decisions. This also makes her a bit of an overplanner, and she gets anxious when things don’t go as she planned

Venus Character Sheet

Venus is the next head of the Botany Royal Guard, but for now acts as a bodyguard for Igneous and Nettle when they enter the Botany kingdom. She is Nettle’s role model and is very boisterous. She has a tendency for recklessness, especially at the expense of her own safety in order to protect others. This is due to her strong sense of justice and desire to defend the weak.
